Announcement to ASX re New Directors

The directors of Thakral Holdings Limited (“the Company”) are pleased to announce the appointment of the
following three non-executive directors to the company effective from 1 February 2004:

1. Inderbethal Singh Thakral
Mr Thakral is a resident of Hong Kong and is Managing Director of the Singapore listed Thakral Corporation
Limited. The company’s main businesses are the trading and distribution of consumer electronics, replication and distribution of home entertainment software and contract manufacturing. Its two principle markets are The People’s Republic of China and Hong Kong.

2. Lim Swe Guan
Mr Lim is a resident of Singapore and is an Executive Vice President of GIC Real Estate Pte Ltd. In that role he is Global Head of Listed and Unlisted Real Estate Companies and Trusts and also Regional Head of Direct Real Estate (South East Asia and Australia).

3. Phillip Hartley Green
Mr Green is a resident of Sydney and is Managing Director of Babcock & Brown Pty Limited responsible for
global real estate investments.
