Announcement to ASX re Appointment of UBS Warburg

The Board of Thakral Holdings Limited (THG) have confirmed the appointment, initiated in May 2001, of UBS Warburg Corporate Finance Limited in respect of the intended sale by the Thakral Family of their interest in THG.

While the Thakral Family have not notified the THG Board of any offer for the disposal of their interest in THG, the Board considered it appropriate to appoint UBS Warburg to provide advice to the THG Board and assist in reviewing any such offer should it impact on THG and/or THG shareholders.
