Announcement to ASX of Year End Results

We attach the following documents containing the results for the year ending 30 June 2000:

  1. Appendix 4B Preliminary Final Report.
  2. Press Release.

We advise details of the distribution from the Thakral Holdings Trust as follows:

  (a) The final distribution for the year ending 30 June 2000 is 3.5 cents per stapled security. This is a 9% increase on the distribution paid for the equivalent period in the prior year.

  (b) Tax Status: 58.6% tax free and 41.4% tax deferral.

  (c) Record Date for determining entitlements: 31 August 2000

  (d) Payment Date: 13 September 2000

  (e) Entitlements for listed Thakral securities:

              ASX Code
              THG 3.5 cents per stapled security
              THGN 1.75 cents per stapled security

  (f) A 2.5% discount will apply under the Distribution/Dividend Reinvestment Plans (DRP). The closing date for lodgement of DRP Election/Variation Notices is 31 August 2000.
